We will do this through the smart and expert integration of industry leading, cutting-edge, advanced predictive modeling and analytics into the insurance policy booking, underwriting, pricing, and claims operations processes. We are a venture capital backed, growth-stage company with a rapidly growing client base, including two of the top ten insurance carriers in the United States.
The Marketing Communications Manager will report directly to the CEO and will manage Valen’s marketing communications activities including: development and implementation of strategic marketing communications plans to support brand development and lead generation. The manager will be an overseer of brand management, content marketing, online and print advertising, collateral development, and corporate website content.
The right person for the job will have experience with lead generation, public relations management, collateral development and an understanding of enterprise software and be willing to roll up your sleeves to make a meaningful impact on our business.
Over the course of the next 12 months you will be expected to:
- Generate high quality sales leads that grow the sales pipeline from $31 million to $75 million
- Build a program that consistently “touches” companies in the sales pipeline to qualify them up or out of the pipeline
- Redo marketing messages so that they articulate Valen’s unique position in the marketplace and the Company’s value proposition effectively
- Develop marketing communication materials and programs to support Valen’s channel sales efforts
- Develop sales collateral including brochures and websites that succinctly express Valen’s value proposition and correctly positions the company against competition
- Deliver multiple white papers and case studies that help generate leads and further position Valen as an industry leading predictive analytics company
- Manage a comprehensive public relations program including briefing key industry analysts, securing speaking opportunities at industry conferences and trade shows, publishing by-lined articles and executives quotes in relevant publications and acting Valen’s spokesperson
